He received a special pair of Worldchamp shoes from BMC that he used untill the Tour down under.
Now riding the Giro he’s using his “old” black green ones. Why? you ask.
Because he gave them, together with his first WC shirt to a girl suffering from a rare sickness Cerebral Palsy.
